Why is a bank transfer to Bangladesh taking longer than the stated TAT (turnaround time)?

Delays may occur due to beneficiary bank processing times, public holidays in Bangladesh, or compliance reviews. Check the transaction status in gloRemit or contact Tranglo Support team for escalation.

Can an individual send funds to a business in Bangladesh?

No. The corridor is restricted to person-to-person transfers. Business entities (sender/recipient) are system-blocked.

Why was my BKash transaction rejected due to an "Invalid Beneficiary Name"?

BKash requires the beneficiary’s name to exactly match the name registered with their mobile wallet account (name and phone number)

How do I handle suspected transactions (Status 967) in Bangladesh?

Escalate the issue to our Tranglo Support team for further assistance.

Can I reuse the same reference number for a failed transaction?

No. Our system blocks duplicate reference numbers to prevent conflicts. You must generate a new reference number to retry the transaction.

Can I cancel a cash pickup marked "Transaction Under Process" (TUP)?

Direct cancellation is not possible. “TUP" status indicates that the funds are held externally. Kindly contact Tranglo Support team for further assistance.

What remittance methods are available in Cambodia?

Cambodia offers four payout channels for KHR and USD transactions:
a) Bank account transfer
b) E-Wallet
c) Cash pick-up
d) Payment Card.

Transfers are processed 24/7, with funds credited within 15 minutes after submission.

Are there fees for the beneficiary?

The beneficiary’s bank may charge fees. The sender covers Tranglo’s transaction fees.

How do I cancel a cash pickup transaction in Cambodia via gloRemit?

Cash pickup transactions can be cancelled through gloRemit within 48 hours of submission. If the transaction exceeds 48 hours in our system, kindly escalate the cancellation request to the Supply Partner.

How to resolve timeout or invalid mobile number errors for Cambodia e-wallet transactions?

For invalid mobile numbers, refund the transaction immediately (no fees apply). For timeout errors, escalate the case to the partner for confirmation. Once approved, re-push the transaction.

What steps are followed for suspected or unclaimed transactions in Cambodia?

Escalate to the Tranglo Support team for assistance. If the transaction is unclaimed, Tranglo Support team will help to reset and re-push the transaction after confirmation.

Can cash pickup transactions be cancelled after the beneficiary claims the funds?

No. Cancellations are only allowed if the payout is unclaimed and initiated within 48 hours via gloRemit. If the transaction is claimed or exceeds 48 hours, escalation to the partner is required.

Are business entities allowed as beneficiaries for Cambodia e-wallet transactions?

No. Cambodia e-wallet transactions only support individual beneficiaries. Business entity names will trigger validation failures and transaction rejections.

How are weekend-initiated bank transactions processed in Cambodia?

Transactions submitted on Saturdays or Sundays are processed on the next business day (Monday–Friday). Beneficiaries receive funds on Monday.

Can I amend a beneficiary’s account number for a Cambodia transaction?

No. Amendments are not permitted. Kindly cancel the transaction and resubmit with the correct account number.

Why was my Cambodia e-wallet transaction rejected despite valid details?

Rejections may occur if the beneficiary is a business (not an individual) or due to system errors (e.g., timeouts). Kindly check transaction logs and partner guidelines for clarification.

What are the processing times for bank transfers to China?

Same-day processing (T+0): Transactions submitted before 3.30pm GMT+8 (Mon-Fri) are processed the same day. Next-day processing (T+1): Transactions sent (submitted) after 3.30pm GMT+8 (Mon-Fri) are processed the next banking day. Status updates: Transaction status (code "000") is updated on T+2 or T+3 after submission, indicating funds have been forwarded to the beneficiary bank. Weekends/holidays: Transactions sent after cutoff times, on weekends, or public holidays are processed on the next China banking day.

How do I cancel a pending transaction for China corridor?

Submit a formal indemnity letter (stamped and signed by your company’s authorised representative). Escalate the case to Tranglo Support team for coordination. Note: Cancellations are not guaranteed if the transaction has already been processed.

How can non-Chinese residents receive CNY payments?

Individuals: Must have a valid Chinese National ID and a CNY-denominated account in China. Businesses: Require a corporate CNY account registered in China. Foreigners: Cannot receive CNY unless they meet the above criteria.

How long does beneficiary KYC take for WeChat transactions?

KYC Completion: Beneficiaries have 48 hours to authorise their phone number via SMS. Failure: Transactions auto-refund after timeout if not completed in time. Tip: Remind beneficiaries to check their spam folders or use the WeChat mini-programme「微汇款」to claim funds manually.

Why are my transactions frequently flagged for compliance?

Common compliance triggers include:

Why was my transaction routed to NEFT instead of IMPS?

While this is beyond Tranglo’s control, possible reasons include:

c) Invalid IFSC code or beneficiary mobile number

How do I collect cash for cash pickup?

Provide a valid government ID and unique transaction number.

Note: Cash pickups are limited to 30 transactions per beneficiary per year.

What are the requirements for trade-related transfers?

Include the invoice number in the bRegencyCode parameter.

For HDFC Bank (Issuer Code: 9100039):
a) The beneficiary must submit trade documents within 21 days via email.
b) Failure to submit the required documents results in transaction rejection and no fee refund.

No. RBI regulations prohibit processing transactions with "Salary Payments" as the purpose.

No. Partner banks prohibit changes to the beneficiary’s name after submission. Kindly cancel the transaction and initiate a new one.

What if a cash pickup transaction for Indonesia needs cancellation after payout?

Tranglo must first request the paying partner to cancel or refund the transaction. After confirmation, internally update the transaction status to “Cancelled”. Raise a Manual Adjustment request.

What types of accounts are supported for remittances to Malaysia?

Tranglo supports direct credits to individual and company bank accounts in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Both residents and non-residents can send and receive funds.

Are there any restricted entities or nationalities?

Is account validation available?

No. Tranglo does not validate beneficiary account details. Ensure all information is correct before submitting a transaction.

Which banks in Malaysia are supported?

Are credit card or loan payments supported?

No. Credit card payments and loan repayments are not allowed.

What happens if a transaction fails?

Refunds are processed on a best-effort basis. Kindly contact Tranglo Support team with your transaction ID for assistance.

Can a transaction be re-pushed for a MYR transaction with the same reference number if it was marked as “Suspected” and later cancelled by the remittance partner?

If the transaction has not reached the remittance partner, it can be re-pushed with the same reference number.

If the transaction has already reached the remittance partner, it cannot be re-pushed with the same reference number.

How can a beneficiary refund a double payment directly to Tranglo’s MYR account?

Tranglo’s internal Treasury Team must first approve the request. Once approved, account details will be shared with the sales partner.

Note: If direct refunds are not possible (due to account restrictions), advise the beneficiary to return funds through their bank. Tranglo will then send a fund retrieval email request to the beneficiary’s bank. After confirmation, a manual adjustment will be processed to refund the sales partner.

Yes. Foreigners can claim cash pickup for amounts up to NPR 99,999 by presenting a valid passport that matches Tranglo’s system records.

What happens if a duplicate transaction (same amount, account and name) is sent?

Duplicate transactions trigger a Suspected (967) status. Kindly contact the supply partner via email and request the bank to release the payment.

How to resolve transactions flagged for crossing threshold limits?

Forward such cases to Tranglo Compliance for further action. Himalaya Bank may require additional documentation to release the funds.

For example, sending SGD from Singapore to Singapore is considered a domestic transfer and is not permitted under international remittance regulations. The sender's country of origin must differ from the beneficiary’s country.

What is a non-resident bank account in Singapore?

A non-resident bank account allows individuals residing abroad to manage their finances in Singapore.
