Intern will learn and be exposed to:
- Gain hands-on experience in creating and interpreting data mapping documents, essential for building scalable data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in real-world data modelling
- Understanding of centralized data repository and data lake
- Opportunity to develop organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Specific responsibilities:
- Create and maintain data mapping documents to define the relationships between source data and target schemas.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure that data mapping aligns with business rules and reporting needs.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Support the ingestion of data from multiple sources into a centralized data repository or data lake.
- Perform basic data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Requirements:
- Minimum internship period 5 months, preferably in final semester
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Solid understanding of SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries, etc.).
- Familiarity with relational databases such as oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and query logic.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Bonus: Exposure to data visualization tools.
